Is there a bus into town?
Yes. The Number 84 bus stops outside the hotel however; it is a daytime service only. The number 284 runs from 29th March to 18th October.

Where can I find out more about walking in your area?
The Sheffield Round Walk is a 14 mile walk through the south west of Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Starting from Hunters Bar, it travels along the Porter valley to Ringinglow. It then descends through the Limb valley and Ecclesall Woods to Abbeydale Road, before climbing through Ladies Spring Wood to Graves Park. The walk then passes through the Gleadless valley, Meersbrook Park and Chelsea Park before returning to Hunters Bar. Is there enough to do at The Norfolk Arms to stay for a few days?
YES and for much longer! With immediate access to The Peak National park, Mayfield Valley & Limb Valley, there are so many walks, fell runs, cycle trails and so much climbing and bouldering to explore. Farm is only 1 minute walk from the hotel. Immediate access to The Peak National Park. Fell running tracks outside the hotel. Horse Riding trails outside the hotel. Hand Gliding & Paragliding at Winnats Pass & Mam Tor. Fishing nearby. To satisfy your cultural needs with Chatsworth House Estate, Eyam Hall and Haddon Hall, Castleton Caverns & Bakewell are all on our doorstep. Sheffield City Centre boasts fantastic galleries and many shopping opportunities too!

Yes, but you need to be a member. Esporta will offer a reduced rate to use their facilities on production of your room key. Please ask at reception for details.

How do I get in if I arrive late at night?
There is a night porter on all evening. Telephone during the day with an approx eta so the night porter knows to look out for you. Phone when you arrive and he will unlock the door.
Do you do gift vouchers?
We can arrange for rooms to be paid in advance and print a receipt on headed paper, if you would like to offer the stay as a gift.
Can I park a caravan in your car park?

Do you have rooms which do not face onto the road?
Yes, please mention this when you book to make sure we know this is your request.
Do I still get charged if I cancel my room?
Rooms should be canceled 24 hours in advance to make sure no charge applies.
Do you do discounted rates for regular customers?
We believe our room rates are excellent value for money as it is.
Can I book a table in the pub for a meal if there is a function on?
If we have a function on the restaurant will be closed, however, we would take bookings in the bar.

18.5km which should take approximately 27 minutes.
