Pull on your boots and head off up the lane and in minutes you're in the Peak National Park -- the walking is endless , the scenery breathtaking.

On our doorstep we have an alpaca farm and visitor centre at Mayfield Alpacas.

A short drive will take you to the Chatsworth estate (home of the Duke & Duchess of Devonshire where you can visit Chatsworth House and the gardens & farmshop - a fabulous family day out, or the market town of Bakewell and try their famous puddings.
Visit the Caverns in Castleton and treat yourself to some 'Blue John' stone , mined only in this village.

If you need some retail therapy we have the Meadowhall shopping complex or for something more energetic the 'dry ski slope' at the Sheffield Ski Village , visit the Winter and Botanical Gardens or the many galleries & museums in the city , from the Kelham Island Industrial Museum showing Sheffields heritage to the latest addition the Millennium Galleries , we think you'll find Sheffield has it all !
