Welcome

castleton.jpg The Norfolk Arms Hotel was built as a Coaching Inn around 1805 and provided refreshments and lodgings for travellers, paying their toll at
the octagonal ‘Round House’ opposite the Inn.
Acquired by the present owners in 2004, work began the following year to renovate and enlarge this Grade II listed historic Coaching Inn.
The Norfolk Arms Hotel has fourteen modern en-suite bedrooms along with beautiful dining, conference and function facilities, the hotel has lost none of its original charm or character.
Standing in picturesque countryside, on the border of the Peak District National Park, the hotels location provides a centralised base, from which to explore the areas numerous attractions.
Ideally located approximately 5 miles from the centre of Sheffield, with the citys business, retail and recreational facilities only a few minutes drive away.
Whether eating and drinking informally in the Burbage and Houndkirk bars or enjoying the more relaxing atmosphere of the Mayfield Restaurant, an enjoyable experience is always guaranteed, whatever the occasion.
