Weddings The Mayfield Room is an ideal setting for a reception for up to sixty guests. The room opens out onto a broad terrace overlooking the gardens and is full of character. In colder weather a large wood-burning stove set in the magnificent old fireplace enhances the cheerful surroundings. For intimate celebrations the Fulwood Room seats up to twenty four guests and opens onto open fields. In the evenings the view of the city's lights in the valley lends to the relaxed atmosphere. Larger celebrations are held in one of our marquees in the adjacent six acre field from where all facilities and hotel rooms are easily accessible If our fourteen comfortable bedrooms are not sufficient to meet wedding guests’ requirements we will be happy to assist in the sourcing of additional local accommodation.
