Ringinglow Walks Walking Festival
- Saturday 5th May
- Sunday 6th May
- Monday 7th May
Discover the sights, sounds and history surrounding Ringinglow village, at our second annual 'Ringinglow Walks Walking Festival'.
This special weekend is to be held in conjunction with Sheffield Environmental Weeks.
Three days, three walks
Our regular Ringinglow Walks guide, Steve Murfitt, has planned three special routes, each starting and finishing at The Norfolk Arms.
Each walk costs £10 per person, and includes tea/coffee before and after the walk, and lunch from our special Ringinglow Walks menu.
The walks are:
A Tale of Two Rivers
Saturday 5th May | 9:00am
A pleasant four-mile woodland stroll which visits two of Sheffield's major rivers.
Romans, Royalty, and Rocks
Sunday 6th May | 10:00am
A vigorous nine-mile adventure, packed with amazing views and fascinating history. We expect to be out for around five hours and will include a break for lunch.
Oxen, and Quarrying on the Moors
Monday 7th May | 5:00pm
A bank holiday evening stroll. We visit two of Sheffield's highest points, and hope to see a stunning sunset over the moors.
